The unique project of the computer reconstruction of extinct animals, managed both by the Lviv State Nature Museum and the “United Technologies” Company, continues. After the first successful stage, in November 2004, when a 3-D model of the woolly rhinoceros and a stereo picture for the museum exposition were made, our experts started the reconstruction of a mammoth and its natural habitat.

Finally, at the end of 2004, the museum exposition was completed with a new stereo picture of the mammoth in its natural habitat. The size of the picture is 1200x1800 mm.
